It just wont quiet down in my head...

Given that "alone" is a state of being; be it a solitary one--circumstance mediated or voluntary-- or one facilitated by the dearth of like-minded company.


and given that "lonely" is a state of mind; a constant nostalgia to something "as it was", a capricious depression pit of no return.


Can one be rational enough to make the practical distinction?

- On a different note... things might be changing for me.. drastically.
I don't want to get ahead of myself.. or.. circumstances.. fate.. whatever you may call it.

I'd hate to be disappointed..

Big difference - to me, "alone" has physical connotations, then again I feel so alone sometimes even when I'm surrounded by people...
